Dual-Layer Composite Plastic Panels

Dual-layer plastic differs fundamentally from aluminum in purpose. It is specifically designed for high-contrast laser engraving.

The material consists of two contrasting layers. When the top layer is laser-etched away, the underlying core layer is revealed, forming crisp graphics directly from the material's color.

This yields sharp, highly legible text, pictograms, scales, and symbols. The material is lightweight, easily machined, and suitable for full-size front panels as well as small switch overlays.

Transparent Plastic Panels with UV Printing

Transparent plastic offers entirely different possibilities. Printing is applied to the reverse (back) side, leaving the front surface smooth while protecting printed graphics under the plastic layer.

This technology enables complex full-color graphics, transparent and translucent windows, white undercoats, and multi-layer designs.

Such panels are particularly advantageous for backlit equipment. Specific graphics or icons can be made translucent, allowing light sources behind the panel to turn graphics into illuminated status indicators.

Transparent plastic is the top choice when design, full-color graphics, surface protection, and backlighting integration are key.
